Chef Remzi Restaurant

Remzi Güçlü, born in 1977 in Nevşehir, started his culinary career at an early age. He started working with his father, Hacı Abdullah, who was a well-known local cook. Chef Remzi, who completed his primary, secondary and high school education in Nevşehir, is one of the first graduates of Abant İzzet Baysal University Mengen Culinary Program.

He started his professional career as a cook at Çırağan Palace Hotel. Later, he continued his career as Executive Chef at Istanbul Hilton Hotel, Konya Hilton Hotel and Banyan restaurants.

After having a very active and successful career Chef Remzi, worked as the head of the culinary arts program for 10 years in Cappadocia University in order to transfer his experiences to new generations. During this period, he has also demonstrated outstanding success in international culinary competitions with his students and he has achived to train many new cooks for the culinary industry.

After leaving his university career with the idea of opening a restaurant where he can exhibit his experience for many years, Chef Remzi Restaurant, has been brought to life with the help of his close friend Halil Uysal who is a proffessional experienced tour guide and academician. With customer focused service and traditional recipes now it is the best restaurant in Cappadocia.
